Rince potatoes with water
Place the potatoes on a cutting board, laying it lengthwise. You can use either a crinkle potato cutter or a food slicer in the waffle fry setting. Cut the potato and after each cut, rotate the potato around 90 degrees before doing another cut. This will create a waffle pattern
Add cut potatoes into a large bowl filled with cold water. Let the potatoes soak for about 5-10 minutes. Drain the potatoes and gently pat dry.
Add potatoes into a mixing bowl, along with oil, salt and garlic powder. Toss until well combined
Add potatoes into the air fryer tray, with minimal overlapping (you may have to do this in multiple batches) and air fry at 200 degrees celcius for 15 minutes, tossing or flipping halfway through, or until the potatoes are crispy on the outside and cooked through in the inside
Give the waffle fries a taste and add any more salt or other seasoning as desired. Enjoy!
