This delicious sauerkraut recipe is easy to make, and can be added to anything to ensure an added dose of fermented goodness!
1kg red cabbage, shredded
1 tbsp salt flakes
2 tsp caraway seeds
Finely shred cabbage and massage the salt in until it has released its liquid. Once there is enough liquid add contents to a sterilised jar. The liquid needs to be covering the cabbage.
Pop a cabbage leaf on the top and seal jar tightly. Store in a dark cupboard for 1-2 weeks before refridgerating.
