These simple black bean burgers are hearty, satisfying and packed with plant based protein using only 3 ingredients.
Directions
Mash the beans in a bowl until mostly smooth.
Add oats and salt, mix until the mixture thickens.
Let it sit 3-5 mins so the oats absorb moisture.
Form 2-3 patties.
Pan-fry in a lightly oiled skillet for 4-5 mins per side. Or, bake at 200c for 15-18 mins, flipping halfway.
Recipe Note
You might like to add a seasoning such as cumin, smoked paprika, garlic powder or maybe your favourite BBQ seasoning. What ever you like!
