A week of it!

Well we’ve made it through the first week of the new site being ‘live’ and just like new parents we have experienced a great sense of relief that it has arrived safely! Along with the realisation that the work is just beginning!

I write this weeks blog in great appreciation of the encouragement and the positive attitude towards the changes.

Seeing as the week has been about new beginnings, I thought to share the beginnings of a few fruits and vegetables.

In China, apricots were grown 4000 years ago and peaches over 2000 years ago.
The avocado is native to South America.
Pears grew wild in Britain.
Pineapples are native to Brazil.
Cauliflower comes from China, where they were about the size of a cricket ball.
Carrots are one of the world's most popular vegetables. But did you know that until about the 1600s carrots were purple?
Spinach was first grown in Iran, at least 2000 years ago.

Have a great week!
