We deliver all of Melbourne to your home or office - super fresh produce, organic food & grocery.
So, you can go ahead and order with confidence, knowing we can get your order to you. If you live in the metro area your delivery charge is $7.99. For those that are in the further away category like the Mornington Peninsula, The Dandenongs, Sunbury and a few other places like that (generally if you are more than 20km from the CBD) we just ask that your minimum order is $120.00. Great deal huh :)
How often do I need to order?
You can order as little or as often as you like.
Can I get the same order each week?
Yes! Just tick the Recurring Order box when you get to Your Cart and you won’t even need to order each week. Once in place we deliver that same order to you each week until further notice. Plus you can make your own selections when you want to as well.
How can I be sure the goods are really organic?
ORGANIC ORIGINS purchase all produce from the Certified Organic Wholefood Wholesalers at the Melbourne Markets, their suppliers are all Certified Organic Farmers. ALL our produce are grown and processed without the use of synthetic chemicals, fertilisers, or GMOs and is Certified Organic. The grocery products we get are also Certified Organic, which is stated on the packaging. Any product that we offer that is not Certified Organic will be described as only Organic, but note that we only use any products that are only Organic if we are very confident in their procedures. On the whole though, the site offers almost 100% Certified Organic goods.
What products are available to buy?
ORGANIC ORIGINS provide a comprehensive product list that includes most of what you can purchase at an organic supermarket only you can order it anywhere, don’t have to go get it and lug it home... Just have it delivered! The current range includes a large selection of fresh fruit and vegetables, if it’s available we’ll have it!
Are your fresh foods local?
We make a real effort to only purchase whole food with the minimum number of food miles. Most of the produce is grown by local farmers in Victoria. There are of course some produce that we can only access from afar, like kiwifruit is occasionally only available from NZ growers. Or bananas and mangoes from Queensland!
How can I find out what’s in season?
We have listed everything in season on our Seasonal Chart under Organic Living. Buying in season produce is a great way to be environmentally friendly and to takes advantage of the absolute freshest produce. Some of us even believe this is a healthier more natural approach for our bodies as our diets have undergone such tremendous change over the past 100 years or so.
How do I order?
Select your items by clicking the number you would like in each box and then click outside the box for it to be added to your cart. Then click on Your Cart & Checkout, where you can see what you have chosen and make any last minute adjustments. From there, click Checkout. At Checkout you create your own account for future purchases, this will make checkout faster and give some other benefits as well. We hope all the steps are clear along the way but if for some reason it doesn’t seem clear to you or you can’t make it to a computer you are welcome to make a phone order; just give Josh a call on 0402 231 007 or Liane on 0439 142 612.
How can I remember to order in time to meet the deadlines?
We will send a quick email the day before and also an SMS to your mobile before the deadline. Really it is just creating a new habit and after a few orders you will be in the swing of things. the chances are good that you won’t miss standing in line at the supermarket, steering wayward trolleys, packing and then unpacking your car... But mostly, we hope, it’s the super fresh quality organic food experience and living healthy and environmentally sustainably that really rewards you!
How do I pay?
We accept all major credit and debit cards and we process payment on your delivery day.
Why is the total when I order an estimate?
An estimated total is displayed because your final order total may differ slightly from your order. For example:
- When an item is out of stock you will not be charged for that item
- If we substitute any item you'll be charged the lower of either the original or the substitute price.
How is my order confirmed?
Once you complete your checkout, a confirmation email will be on it’s way to you. This will detail all your purchases, provide you with an order number and your estimated total.
Will I receive a invoice?
Yes, it is emailed to you as soon as you complete your order online.
What if I have a question about my invoice?

What if I’m not happy with my order?
In the unlikely event that you are disappointed for any reason, please contact us immediately, we are committed to our customers being not just happy but delighted with our services and will go to GREAT LENGTHS! to ensure this. We hope your satisfaction is such that you will recommend us.

When do I need to order by?
One of the benefits of ordering online is you can order whenever you like. But... there are deadlines! We deliver on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
For delivery on a Monday or Tuesday you’ll need to order by 12noon on Sunday.
For delivery on a Thursday or Friday, order by 12noon on Wednesday.
What time will my goods arrive?
We deliver between 10am & 5pm. When you place your first order with us we will contact you and let you know when to expect your goods.
How much is the delivery fee?
We charge a flat rate of only $7.99.
How do I know if you deliver to my area?
We deliver everywhere in the Melbourne Metro Area & well beyond too.
Is there a minimum amount I need to order?
Yes, the minimum amount for any order is $70.00 (excluding delivery). If the delivery is required further than 20km past the CBD in some areas the requirement will be a minimum order of $120.00.
What if I am not home when delivery is made?
Many customers are not home upon delivery. Most front doorways offer some security and some shade or you can let us know where else you would like your delivery placed; find somewhere secure, away from pets and protected from the weather. Other options include having your goods delivered to a neighbour or to your workplace.
What about items that need refrigeration?
We keep these cool for you until they arrive at their destination. In our Custom Cooler Bags with ice gel packs for added protection if you have selected to purchase one for $12.00. Otherwise they are stored in recycle-able compostable cornstarch bags with the ice packs. We recommend you store your goods correctly as soon as you can.
What do I do with the Custom Cooler Bag?
Leave it out for collection on your next delivery day and we will rotate the bags always providing you another one for your chilled goods.
What do I do with the empty box?
Of course, we like to ‘keep it green’ so please, leave our empty boxes from previous orders out for collection on your next delivery day. These will be re-used or recycled. We also will reuse the polystyrene boxes and appreciate the return of all our boxes.
Please Note: ORGANIC ORIGINS provides premium care of your goods. Upon delivery they become your responsibility and we do not accept any liability for any unforeseen damage to unattended deliveries.
When you have open Your Account with ORGANIC ORIGINS you can re-order your favourite order each time, make adjustments or start fresh!
You will find listed, all your previous orders. Then you can click any one of these and add all or parts of it to Your Cart. Then either Checkout or continue to Shop. It’s really easy and if you order a lot of the same things it can make your online shopping super fast.
Having Your Account also means that you don’t need to put your name and address details in each week.
To create Your Account is easy too. When you are at Checkout simply enter your details, then next time you visit just click Login and it will take you straight to Your Account.
The First Time you order from us, we will contact you via phone to organise payment, where to leave your box etc along with any special requests you may have. At Checkout please remember to enter your phone number so we can make contact with you.
